Absence and Disabling Injury/Statistic of Disabling Injury Category
In 2022, there were no employee fatalities reported. The statistics for full-time and contract employees show 41 cases of minor injuries during work, including 1 case of disability-causing injury. The main types of injuries were cuts and lacerations. Special emphasis has been placed on education and training for colleagues and subcontractors involved in the incidents, including supervisor-led management, grassroots-driven occupational safety activities, management of false alarm incident reporting, 6S for autonomous management improvement, and fostering a culture of self-protection, mutual care, and supervision. These measures aim to achieve continuous improvement.
Furthermore, through effective measures such as workplace environmental monitoring, specialized health checks and management, hazard education and training, enforcement of personal protective equipment usage, and audits, the risk of personnel exposure to health hazards has been significantly reduced, minimizing the likelihood of occupational diseases. There have been no reported cases of occupational diseases among employees in the past five years.
In recent years, most of the occupational accidents in our company have resulted in minor injuries. The main causes of these minor injuries are attributed to a lack of safety awareness among personnel and insufficient education and training. To address this, we have implemented comprehensive safety education and training programs, conducted reviews of similar hazard points, and intensified the promotion of safety awareness among personnel. We continuously assess safety performance to ensure a reduction in the occurrence rate of occupational accidents.

n Employee Commuting Traffic Accidents
To prevent traffic accidents during employees’ commute, it is urged that everyone strengthens their commitment to adhering to traffic rules. Ongoing efforts should be made to conduct traffic safety education and audits, to eliminate common driving mistakes and cultivate a defensive driving mindset among colleagues. Encouragement should be given for using public transportation or carpooling for commuting. For those who must ride motorcycles, supervisors should provide annual safety briefings to enhance employees’ awareness of traffic safety.
