Century Iron and Steel Industry Co., Ltd. (Century Group, Taiwan Stock Exchange No.9958) is officially awarded ISO 3834-2:2005 (Quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials - Part 2: Comprehensive quality requirements) and EN ISO 1090-1:2009 + A1:2011 / 1090-2:2008 + A1:2011 certifications from TÜV Rheinland in January, 2018. Among all the Taiwan Stock Exchange listed companies in steel structure industry, Century is the first one fulfills the above ISO standard requirements by the third party’s verification. And also becomes the first Taiwanese offshore wind energy underwater foundation manufacturer obtains the above ISO certifications.

TÜV Rheinland is an international organization generally acknowledged as the most professional and the most authoritative technical inspection and certification service provider originated in Germany, and Century Group has just passed all the procedure and been qualified for ISO 3834 and EN 1090 by the association. The certification process was extremely rigorous; however, with the leadership of the chairman Mr. Lai Wen-Hsiang, Century Group has practically presented the capability of passing all the ISO verification to show the quality has always been the first priority in Century Group. Moreover, in order to correspond to the international trend, Century Group consolidates the steel structure quality management and sets the standard high for the product quality by the welding quality management institutionalization, standardization, and internationalization.
