Health Improvement Plan



The company regularly disseminates health information through emails, posters, and other means on an irregular monthly basis. This includes promoting prevention measures for dengue fever, seasonal influenza, COVID-19, proper mask usage, and other health-related information. These efforts aim to enhance employees' understanding of self-health management methods, encourage early disease prevention, and mitigate the spread of infectious diseases.

The promotional materials are available in multiple language versions, including Chinese, English, Thai, Vietnamese, and Indonesian, to ensure that teachers and migrant workers from different countries can fully understand the content. Relevant notices and promotions are also displayed within the work areas to effectively implement the dissemination.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the company has dispatched the Environmental Health and Safety Office to distribute alcohol for disinfecting personal seats and environments in each department. Employees are required to have their temperature measured at the security office and fill out a daily temperature monitoring form by scanning a QR code before starting work. We have also promoted the wearing of masks during clock-in and clock-out to minimize interactions and reduce the risk of infection. Century Steel actively cooperates with the policies and regulations announced by the Central Epidemic Command Center and proactively implements preventive and emergency response measures to prevent the further spread of the virus while ensuring the health and safety of all colleagues.

1. Temperature monitoring devices and   75% alcohol spray dispensers are installed at the entrances of the company.

2. Temporary isolation areas and   dormitories are set up.

3. The company has developed a COVID-19   epidemic prevention and response plan, as well as implemented various   preventive measures. These measures include installing protective screens in   meeting rooms and dining areas, conducting weekly staff contact tracing,   requiring all individuals to wear masks throughout their time in the company   premises, conducting temperature checks for everyone entering the company,   implementing a daily temperature reporting system, implementing a real-name   system for guests, prioritizing online meetings, and providing post-holiday   screening for all employees.

4. The company arranges regular   disinfection, and is equipped with 75% alcohol and bleach to provide   employees with the means to disinfect their work environment.

5. The company keeps track of confirmed   cases and encourages vaccination. A care group is established to provide   employees with consultations regarding confirmed cases.

6. The company provides daily updates   on the latest government policies to employees through email, communication   software, and posted notices.

n   The plan for conducting health seminars in the 111th year is as follows:

Based on the feedback from the questionnaire survey, two health seminars will be organized in 2022 to enhance the awareness of physical and mental well-being among all employees at Century Steel. Regular themed health education activities will be conducted throughout the year to assist employees in improving their physical health. The health seminars will provide teachings on stress management and coping techniques, allowing employees to find moments of relaxation for their minds and thoughts, leading to increased work efficiency.

Ø   Building bridges of understanding and communication: Teaching correct stress relief methods and communication skills to foster understanding and harmony. The teachers will share rich case studies to guide everyone into the world of psychological therapy. The workshop will be attended by 16 participants.

Ø  Toxic-Free and Light: Environmental hormones, COVID-19, and the habit of eating out have significantly impacted the health of the population. This course aims to educate participants about the benefits of probiotics on human health and how to choose commercially available products wisely. The lively instructor and interactive sessions among colleagues create an engaging environment for absorbing health knowledge. The course will be attended by 21 participants.
