Disaster Prevention Drill

n   Fire and Disaster Prevention Drill

We hold biannual fire and disaster prevention drills, with a total of 2 sessions in 2022. These drills focus on knowledge related to fire escape equipment, home and vehicle safety, and fire protection measures. Through practical exercises, we enhance our emergency response capabilities, reduce the occurrence of disasters, and safeguard the lives and properties of our employees. Additionally, by simulating emergency evacuation drills, we effectively test the fire-fighting equipment and operational procedures within our company premises.

n   Plant-wide Evacuation Drill

In 2021, we conducted one session focusing on the leakage of hazardous substances and a plant-wide evacuation drill for all on-site personnel. The simulation involved the evacuation of on-site personnel and their gathering at designated emergency evacuation points in the event of an earthquake-induced hazardous substance leak within the premises. Through this drill, we aimed to enhance the familiarity of on-site personnel with emergency response procedures, significantly improving their ability to respond to various types of emergency incidents.

n   High Angle Rescue Drill

To ensure continuous compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and provide employees with a safe working environment, our company has developed High Altitude Operations Standard Guidelines. With a primary focus on personal safety, the guidelines include assessment plans prior to operations, evaluating the functionality of rope-related equipment, strength of fixed points in the work area, fall prevention measures, rope path planning, required number of personnel, physical and mental well-being of workers, potential hazard points, and rescue methods in case of accidents. Additionally, instructional videos have been produced to familiarize employees with rescue procedures and empower them to apply their knowledge when necessary.

n   First Aid Equipment Setup

For employee dormitories, namely “New Happy Farm” and “Home Sweet Home” our company has set up first aid equipment to facilitate immediate response in the event of accidents. Additionally, the company has arranged AED training courses to ensure that a majority of employees are capable of operating AED devices.
