Following the government's lead in reducing carbon and protecting the environment

Climate change and carbon reduction issues are attracting increasing attention. Around the world, governments have successively announced their “net zero emissions by 2050” pledges and policies, and Taiwan formally enacted the 2050 net zero emissions target into law in 2023. In response, CT has actively followed the net zero trend by upholding environmental protection and energy saving awareness, implementing related measures, and continuously promoting the Company’s energy management system.

On climate change issues, Century actively cooperates with the Financial Supervisory Commission in promoting carbon inventory for listed companies. Since 2021, it has promoted greenhouse gas inventories and strengthened control over energy consumption of each system through an energy management system. Through practical actions, it has continuously implemented process optimization, energy management, and various energy-saving and carbon-reduction measures, saving electricity and reducing carbon emissions, thereby enhancing the Company’s sustainability and competitiveness in the industry. It is also promoted downward to subsidiaries, so that the entire Century Group joins the carbon inventory initiative.

Transformation without forgetting sustainability, with awards as recognition

From crossing over from the traditional steel structure industry into the offshore wind power field and facing entirely new issues of sustainable development, from initial unfamiliarity and challenges to gradual understanding and integration, through the efforts of all colleagues, difficulties were gradually overcome and a foundation for sustainability was established. In 2025, we were once again honored with the “Bronze Award for Sustainability Report Category 1” at the 18th TCSA Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards, which is not only the best recognition of Century’s efforts in sustainable operations, but also an important driving force for us to continue moving forward.

In addition, the Company was recognized as a TOP 10% performing enterprise in 2025, demonstrating its emphasis on and implementation of workplace health and safety issues, and continuing to believe that a healthy and safe workforce is the core of sustainable development. This honor further confirms our steadfastness and correctness on the path of transformation, and also gives us confidence in the future.

Demonstrating a caring heart and giving back to society with love

The Company actively implements social responsibility, takes “taking from society and using it for society” as its corporate philosophy, and gives back through practical actions to people in society who need help. It has long continuously supported disadvantaged groups. In 2025, it organized nearly several public welfare activities, caring for socially disadvantaged groups from different sectors of society through various public welfare activities, and supporting colleagues in participating in various public welfare activities in response to social needs, thereby cultivating civic awareness, internalizing it into the corporate social responsibility culture, and implementing the concept of enterprises giving back to society.

Century looks to the future and continues sustainable operations

To date, by upholding a corporate culture of integrity and, in order to enhance the corporate governance mechanism, fulfill social responsibility, and strengthen risk management capabilities, we continue to promote sustainable development and practice the principle of corporate sustainability, reinforce corporate governance, engage in community care, focus on talent cultivation, and at the same time continuously build an inclusive and friendly workplace for our employees.
